We see possibilities. As staff and volunteers with Main Street Project, we’re passionate about helping people of all ages, cultures, economic and immigration status participate in community life. So when something’s working, let’s celebrate and keep it going. When it’s not, let’s work together for change. Either way, let’s not be shy about speaking up.

Danielle Mkali is a media justice organizer with Main Street Project. She has more than nine years of experience training and developing young organizers.

Steven Renderos is Main Street Project’s media justice program director. When he isn’t doing trainings and community organizing, he’s serving on the boards of multiple non-profits and foundations focused on under-represented communities. And DJ-ing as DJ Ren. And blogging at renisthedj.com.

Kat Vann works on communications and development for Main Street Project. She spent more than 25 years in the business communications trenches before coming over to the nonprofit world – and wonders why it took her so long.
